For LGBTQ+ Pride Month in 2021, we struggled to find a way to support the community without feeling disingenuous. A novel had just been released that shared new stories about a character in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. But without visual ways to represent those stories, how do we translate them to YouTube? Well, since the character explores her bisexuality and ends up with a same sex partner, we decided to elevate this task for Pride Month. We recruited three AAPI Drag Queens who were fans of the show to cosplay as the characters and recap the incredible tale.
